Giant False Leaf Katydid Nymphs (Pseudophyllus titan, Pseudophyllinae, Tettigoniidae)

This was part of a group of seven mighty nymphs on adjoining leaves. The orientation of those leaves meant getting a larger group shot wouldn’t work without disturbing them all.

Although this pair would appear to be engaged in reproductive behaviour, as juveniles (and even then, it appears as different instars as well), their solution to a space problem is vertical stacking. If you want to anthropomorphise things, it could easily be interpreted as the older cousin nurturing and sheltering it’s younger relative.
